Just Us
They met at a college event where he was one of the organizers and she had come to help and take part. A mutual friend introduced them, nothing more than a passing hello. Two names added to each other's world, then quietly filed away as they went their separate ways.
But the world is smaller than it seems. Over the years that followed, through all the seasons of his time in school, their paths kept crossing. Never forced, never planned. Just him and her, somehow always ending up in the same places, until it became too consistent to be coincidence.

Years later, she needed a photographer and her original one couldn't make it. She remembered that he shot, and that he was nearby. He showed up with his camera and they spent an afternoon together in what should have been a simple professional arrangement. But the conversation that unfolded told a different story, and by the time the last frame was taken, something had shifted.
He didn't overthink it. About a month after the shoot, he asked her to be his. She said yes. And just like that, all those years of crossing paths and going their separate ways finally became something they could name.

Four years of dating and growing in the knowledge of each other. Learning each other's soft spots, quirks, and the quiet rhythms that make a relationship feel like home. Then came a trip to Mexico, unhurried and sun-warmed, where he got down on one knee. She'll tell you she had absolutely no idea it was coming. He'll tell you she had a feeling.
She said yes. Because a love like theirs, rooted in faith and built over time, doesn't need convincing. Now they look forward to spending the rest of their lives together. The same love God has shown to them, they share with each other.
